Snowball Cookies
Ingredients
3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups all-purpuse flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar, extra for dusting
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
A small amount of milk if needed

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 to 3 large baking sheets with parchment paper or a sil-pat.
Using a stand or hand mixer, beat the butter until fluffy. Add flour, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt and beat until incorporated. See if the consistancy of the dough is sufficient for scooping into balls.
Only do the following if the dough does not stick together:
Add small amounts of milk by the tablespoon until it is just enough to make the dough pliable and flaky. Do not add too much milk.
Add the chocolate chips. Scoop about one rounded tablespoon of dough at a time onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each scoop. Bake for about 12 minutes until lightly golden around the edges. Remove from the oven and allow cookies to cool. Then sprinkle some powdered sugar over the cookies.
