Lavender Bath Bomb
Ingredients:
Base Ingredients:
450g (1lb) bicarbonate of soda
225g (8oz) citric acid
Filtered water for spritzing
Botanicals:
12 drops of lavender essential oil
Handful of dried lavender flowers
10g (1/4 oz) cocoa butter chips
Equipment:
Fine mist spray bottle
Silicone molds or ice cube trays
Measuring cup

1. Combine the citric acid and bicarbonate of soda well in a bowl.
2. Add the drops of lavender essential oil and break down any lumps that remain.
3. Cut the cocoa butter chips into small crumbs and add the lavender flowers, stirring well to combine.
4. Fill the fine mist spray bottle with water and spray the mixture 2 or 3 times, stirring quickly to combine. If the mixture starts to fizz when you spray it, stir the mixture and the fizzing should stop. Repeat the spraying and stirring until you have a crumbly consistency and the mixture stays together when you squeeze it in your hand.
5. Fill the molds with the mixture and press down until firm. Once hard, remove the bath bombs from the mold and enjoy!
